How fit do I have to be?

Overall a high degree of fitness is NOT required on LIVE LIFE trips. BUT what is required is a medium level of agility.

Almost all of our trips demand that we travel over rough terrain.

It might be in a cave, canyon or on an adventure tramp but all trips need this level of agility.

Find a place where there is a stream with large boulders in it and walk at a normal pace from A to B.

How did you feel?

This is agility.

Did you use your hands?

If you did, we're sorry but Live-life Experiences trips are not for you.

What do I get for my money?

  • All guide fees.
  • Transport to and from your accommodation (Nelson/ Motueka areas).
  • Department of Conservation (DoC) hut fees, if we overnight in one.
  • DoC concessions (tourism permits).
  • Gate keys and permits if required (if we go onto private land).
  • Use of equipment supplied by Live-Life Experiences.
  • Lunch on the day trips.

What's not included?

  • Food as you will buy and take what you need locally. We will make suggestions. And we can cook and eat communally or individually.
  • Hired equipment you may need for tramping trips which Live-Life Experiences does not provide. E.g. Backpacks, sleeping bags, etc.

Prices are per person, per day. There is a minimum number of people required for each trip, this varies from trip to trip. We try not to exceed 8 people per trip.

Prices quoted everywhere on this website are in New Zealand dollars and include local taxes. ()
